Fulbright-University of Vienna Visiting Professor of Social Sciences

For the academic year 2026/27 (start: October 2026 or March 2027) the Fulbright Visiting Professorship at the Faculty of Social Sciences is open. The Visiting Professorship for Teaching and Research enables a 4-month teaching and research stay at the University of Vienna.
The call for applications is aimed at researchers with US citizenship from the following disciplines: Demography, International Development, Cultural and Social Anthropology, Nursing Science, Political Science, Journalism and Communication Studies, Sociology and Science and Technology Studies. The remuneration for the visiting professorship is EUR 5,000 per month. In addition, a one-off travel allowance of EUR 1,000 is granted.
