At Rising Voices, guests can expect exciting insights into award-winning research in the social sciences on current topics - from communication science to political science - as well as the presentation of the sowi:doc Awards 2024 to three outstanding female doctoral students. In addition, the Univie Teaching Award Social Sciences 2025, which recognizes excellent teaching, will be presented. The fifth anniversary of the Vienna Doctoral School of Social Sciences (ViDSS) will also be celebrated. The evening will therefore end with a reception and birthday party, with the band The Sound of Social Science providing the right atmosphere.
