Lazarsfeld Archive in Vienna

Archives are a society‘s memory. They have the duty of safekeeping, development and supply of written records predominantly for administrative purposes, scientific research and teaching. In cooperation with other archives, the Paul F. Lazarsfeld Archive is the memory of social research from Austria.

The Archive is situated in the house of Sociology of the University of Vienna. Founded in 1980, it enables researchers and students access to the scientific estate of Paul F. Lazarsfeld and, since 2002, to the scientific estate of Paul M. Neurath as well.
