Participate now! Together with Ana Mijić and Michael Parzer, the Volkstheater is looking for your "Myths of Everyday Life."

Which moment from your life deserves a spot on the big stage? Mattias Andersson will direct the everyday myths of the city in a production presented in cooperation with the Vienna Festival.

MYTHS OF EVERYDAY LIFE

Vienna thrives on the stories of the people who live, work, think, and feel here.

For the project "MYTHS OF EVERYDAY LIFE," the Volkstheater is searching for the everyday myths of the city with the help of sociologists from our Department. Mattias Andersson will direct the project, which will bring these myths to the stage in cooperation with the Vienna Festival.

Vienna has many voices. Yours is one of them!

Is there a situation in your life that has had a particular impact on you? Or an experience—moving, funny, or surprising—that you would like to see on stage?

Share this moment with us in a confidential interview*. Some of these conversations will be developed into a play at the Vienna Volkstheater. If you are interested, please contact Ana Mijić (ana.mijic@univie.ac.at) or Michael Parzer (michael.parzer@univie.ac.at).

*Interviews can be conducted in German, English, Turkish, Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, Polish, Spanish, or French.
