Public Lectures and Events

What does it mean to grow older(er) today? The Marie Jahoda Winter School of Sociology 2018 is dedicated to the topic of “Doing Age” – understanding age as something that we do, not something that we are. Between November 1st and 3rd, the Marie Jahoda Winter School of Sociology hosts 20 young scholars and international experts to establish an open debate about how, where and when we grow older today. We warmly invite colleagues to join us at one of our three public keynotes on November 1st, 2nd and 3rd or at our final event on November 2nd.
